The Hard Rock Calling festival will return to London's Hyde Park with a line-up of major music stars this summer.

Bon Jovi, Rod Stewart and The Killers have been unveiled as headline acts for the three-day event, which gets underway on Friday June 24th.

Other confirmed performers include Stevie Nicks, Adam Ant, Rumer and the Lighthouse Family, with the organisers expected to announce more bands in the coming weeks.

Las Vegas indie rockers The Killers are due to headline the opening night of Hard Rock Calling, having last played at the festival in 2009.

The group recently took a break from the limelight while lead singer Brandon Flowers released his first solo album.

In a statement, drummer Ronnie Vannucci said: "It's been too long, friends... Feels like forever since we've seen each other and now it's time we pay a visit."

Bon Jovi will headline on Saturday June 25th, with Rod Stewart set to top the bill on the final night.

Hard Rock Calling tickets are priced at £55.25 for the Friday, £66.25 for Saturday and £61 for Sunday.
