The group will take the stage on May 25th and no doubt play plenty of tunes from their most recent record Merriweather Pavilion, arguably their most critically and commercially successful album. Animal Collective's live line-up is in a constant state of flux, but key members are Avey Tare, Deakin, Geologist and Panda Bear, who has received a lot of praise for his recent solo work. The Baltimore group are hugely influential in the alternative scene and have their own record label, entitled Paw Tracks. They also have the honour of curating the final spring session of All Tomorrow's Parties in the UK this month. For their gig in Milan, they will be supported by an as-yet-unconfirmed act.
