African Grace, the new show from acclaimed world music act the Soweto Gospel Choir (SGC), is heading to Adelaide for a brief run at the start of next month.

The two-time Grammy Award-winning ensemble formed in 2002 and have performed to packed houses around the world.

In this time, they have played alongside international superstars such as Jimmy Cliff, Bono, Queen and Aretha Franklin.

For their new production, the choir's 26 singers, dancers and musicians link up to deliver a performance of traditional and contemporary works.

Audience members can look forward to hearing tracks such as Ave Maria, Jerusalem, Prayer for South Africa and Voices on the Wind, all of which feature on the African Grace album.

They are set to take the stage at Her Majesty's Theatre in the Adelaide Festival Centre over three nights, from June 1st to 3rd 2011.

Each concert will kick off at 19:30 local time and run for 95 minutes, plus a 30-minute interval.

Adult tickets are priced at AU$70, while concessions and students can get in for AU$60 and AU$50 respectively.
