LateRooms.com – Visit Seville for A Test Extending Beyond the Action

A Test Extending Beyond the Action is now available to view at Seville's Centro Andaluz de Arte Contemporaneo (CAAC).

The exhibition of KP Brehmer's artwork will be on show until June 12th 2011 and features a series of pieces by the German Pop Art figure.

Even though he passed away in 1997, his creative output is still hugely relevant, as it dissects the way 'visual grammars' are utilised in newspapers, magazines, on the internet and on television.

In a statement on the venue's website, the organisers said: "His work allows the viewer to reflect on the way our society constructs and visualises data and the ways in which this data is used as a tool of political abstraction."

Tickets to see the temporary exhibition cost €1.80 (£1.60), or people can pay €3 to see the art space's complete collection.

Among the other displays currently on show at the facility are Without Reality There is No Utopia and Pressed Out Women, which are available to view until July 10th and June 12th respectively.

Art enthusiasts thinking of booking accommodation in Seville can find a broad selection of options on LateRooms.com, including the Hotel Don Paco Seville.
