The X Factor Auditions are coming up in Sydney next month, with participants likely to be entering into the final stages of their rehearsals.

Demand for free tickets to attend the live shows at Sydney Entertainment Centre on June 2nd and 3rd has been very high.

Anyone lucky enough to get their hands on passes will have the chance to cheer and jeer as the plucky entrants show why they think they have what it takes to win.

The X Factor has grown into an international hit show over the past few years, having being introduced to UK television screens by Simon Cowell in 2004.

On the Australian version, the judges include Ronan Keating and former Spice Girl Mel B.

In a statement, the organisers said: "The world's biggest talent show returns once again to find Australia's next singing superstar or supergroup and you are invited to watch the Sydney auditions."

The first sessions kick off at 11:00 local time on both days.

Attendees can reach the venue by taking the monorail or light rail service to Paddy's Market station.

Talent contest fans can use LateRooms.com.au to browse a huge variety of last minute accommodation in Sydney, including hotels near Sydney Entertainment Centre.
