AsiaRooms.com - Check Out Dynamic Live Show Fanta Stick In Seoul

Released on: June 22, 2011, 4:35 am
Author: AsiaRooms Ltd
Industry: Travel

Travellers with tickets to see Fanta Stick can expect to see a broad range of music, dance and storytelling styles fused together to create a unique experience.

The tale is essentially an adaptation of Romeo and Juliet, but the writers have repositioned it as a comedy and woven the tunes into the fabric of the plot.

As with the classic William Shakespeare story there are two warring families, which are easy to distinguish because one group are percussionists and the other are string instrument players.

In this version, one group is in Hades and the other in the land of the living, but this does not stop a young man and woman falling for each other.

The story is directed by Kim Jong Sung and features an original script by Jee Yun Sung.

In a statement, the organisers said: "Feel the heart-pounding, stirring rhythms of traditional Korean music! Innovation at its best: the unconventional fusion of Korean traditional music with pop and rock."

The production, which lasts around 85 minutes, is to be performed at the 63 Art Hall throughout 2011.

Admission costs 50,000 won (£28.40).

If theatre-goers are keen to book Seoul hotels, they could use AsiaRooms.com to browse a vast range of options, including the IP Boutique Hotel Itaewon.
