The Wu-Tang Clan, one of the most groundbreaking and influential groups in hip-hop, are set to perform in Paris next month.

Visitors to the French capital can see the collective live on stage at L'Olympia on Tuesday June 28th, when they will perform a selection of hits from their back catalogue of classic albums.

Emerging from the New York City borough of Staten Island in the early 1990s, the Wu-Tang Clan garnered widespread critical acclaim for their landmark debut LP Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers).

Many members of the nine-man group went on to enjoy success as individual artists, overseen by production mastermind RZA.

The group have continued to work tirelessly on solo efforts and collaborative projects in recent times.

Although it is more than three years since their last studio album as a full group emerged, members such as Raekwon the Chef and Ghostface Killah have released acclaimed LPs in the last 12 months.

Tickets to see the Wu-Tang Clan perform at the Paris venue are priced at €45.50 (£39.40), €51 and €56.50. The show is scheduled to begin at 20:30 local time.
