The Book Festival for Young People will offer something for both parents and children.

The joy of reading is the central theme of the Book Festival for Young People, which is held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre next month.Travellers staying in Bangkok will need to get themselves down to the venue between July 13th and 17th to find out what the exhibitors have planned to encourage children to get into literature.

It is organised by the Publishers and Booksellers Association of Thailand and features activities aimed at both parents and youngsters.For children, there will be a huge number of booths offering all sorts of books, as well as special zones that aim to harness interactive media to inspire a love of reading.Parents can take part in seminars, discussions and demonstrations in which the key literacy issues will be debated by experts from the field.Opening times are from 10:00 to 20:00 local time every day

To reach the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre, visitors can take the MRT Subway to the venue's own station, or travel on the BTS Skytrain to Asok and walk to the facility.
