Author: AsiaRooms Ltd
Industry: Travel

Knocking, a new show by performance company Hands Percussion, is heading to the Kuala Lumpur stage next month.

Six of the group's pioneer members will appear at the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre at Sentul Park from Friday August 12th to Sunday August 14th.

Knocking is set to feature a number of brand new pieces composed and choreographed by performers Jimmy Ch'ng, Thong Yoong How, Cross Chin Chun Ket, Leow Sze Yee, Ng Siu Yee and Boyz Chew.

The production could be an ideal choice for music lovers who want to sample a slice of south-east Asia's rich and varied musical traditions.

Tickets are currently on sale, priced at 68 ringgits (£14) for adults, while senior citizens and students can enter for 48 ringgits.

The Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre was founded in May 2004 with the merger of three organisations - Yayasan Budi Penyayang Malaysia, YTL Corporation Berhad and the Actors Studio Malaysia.

It is a not-for-profit organisation with the aim of fostering the development of traditional and contemporary performing arts, community outreach programmes and educational projects in Malaysia.

AsiaRooms.com offers a wide range of Kuala Lumpur hotels that could appeal to theatre-goers, including the Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel.
