AsiaRooms.com - See Linkin Park Live in Bangkok

US rock act Linkin Park are set to perform live in Bangkok on Friday September 23rd.

Their concert in the Thai capital will be the penultimate date on the band's world tour, which began in October 2010 and has included shows in Europe, Australia, Canada, the US and the Middle East.

Known for hits such as Numb, In the End and One Step Closer, the California-based group released their fourth studio album A Thousand Suns in September last year.

Linkin Park burst on to the scene in 2000 with debut LP Hybrid Theory, which blended heavy guitar sounds and the emotional songwriting of lead vocalist Chester Bennington with rap influences.

They went on to collaborate with hip-hop megastar Jay-Z, who worked with the band on 2004's joint release Collision Course.

Spawning the hit Numb/Encore, the six-track EP blended songs by both artists to create a series of "mash-ups".

Linkin Park's show in Bangkok is due to take place at Aktiv Square. Tickets are available online, with prices ranging from 1,000 baht to 3,000 baht (£20.60 to £62).

Music fans planning at stay in Bangkok hotels will find a large selection of options at AsiaRooms.com, which recommends The Twin Towers Hotel.
