DirectRooms.com confirms that between 21st and 23rd October 2011 Conference of the World Economic Forum will take place at the Dead Sea in Jordan.

The Conference will debate the economic future of North Africa and the Middle East. Over 1,000 delegates are expected to attend this prestigious event and there will be a strong demand for cheap Dead Sea hotels.

The Conference is to be attended by international representatives from the worlds of business, government, industry and academia to discuss the economic future of the region with a special emphasis on Arab youth. The conference will be held in English but there will be simultaneous translation into Arabic. The co-chairs of the meeting will be Mohammed H. Al-Mady, CEO of Saudi Basic Industries, and Muhtar A. Kent, CEO of the Coca Cola Company USA.

Industries represented at the conference will include delegates from the field of Tourism, Aviation, Logistics, Infrastructure and Urban Development.

The Conference organisers have asked that delegates book their places by 22nd September as demand for places will be high. To attend the Conference the fees for World Economic Forum Members are CH Francs 3,500 and for non-member CH francs 6,500. This fee will allow delegates to have access to all the plenaries, workshops lunches and dinners. Friday 21st October is set aside for registration and a Conference dinner, the real work of the meeting will take place over the following two days.
