On September 18th, Britain's most important cycling race concludes with a thrilling time trial through central London, culminating in an epic dash down instantly recognisable Whitehall.

Beginning on September 11th, the tour starts at Peebles in the Scottish Highlands, and wends it way through Blackpool, Stoke-on-Trent, Caerphilly, Exeter and Sandringham before arriving in the capital.

The tour has helped to further the careers of many famous cyclists since it returned to prominence in 2004, with leading British rider Mark Cavendish and Luxembourg's Andy Schleck, two of the stars of this year's Tour de France, both enjoying success here in previous years.

Best of all, it is completely free to watch this event, so spectators can simply take their place along the London route, which includes the Embankment along the Thames, Westminster Bridge and passes the Houses of Parliament.
