Comedy star and chat show host Alan Carr is heading to Bournemouth as part of his latest UK tour next month.

The bespectacled funnyman is set to deliver a four-night run at the Bournemouth International Centre's Windsor Hall, where fans will be treated to his brand new stand-up show Spexy Beast.

Carr, who will arrive in the south coast resort on Friday September 23rd and perform for the final time on Monday September 26th, has become a household name in recent years.

He hosts a popular chat show on Channel 4 and also presides over a weekly slot on BBC Radio Two alongside Melanie Sykes.

However, the award-winning performer will return to his stand-up comedy roots with Spexy Beast, which begins in Brighton on Sunday September 11th.

It is Carr's first major tour since Tooth Fairy in 2007 and should delight fans of his camp humour and good-natured gags.

Tickets for his shows in Bournemouth can be purchased online, priced at £30 plus booking fee.
