Bali is to play host to screenings of a number of high-profile movies at the Balinale 2011 International Film Festival, which takes place in November.

The event is designed to offer an opportunity for local directors to showcase their talents to a global audience, while allowing international moviemakers to visit Indonesia and see its potential as a location for filming or story concepts.

Last year's event saw high-profile screenings of movies such as Eat Pray Love starring Julia Roberts, part of which was set in Bali, as well as other
