The 19th edition of Estampa, Madrid's contemporary art and print editions fair, is set to take place towards the end of next month.

Visitors will have the opportunity to browse a large selection of photographs, engravings, digital works, artists' notebooks and more. Collectors may even be tempted to splash the cash if they find pieces that take their fancy.

Since it was first established, Estampa has gained a reputation as one of the most important and respected events of its kind in Europe thanks to the wide variety of art and prices on offer.

This year, the fair also includes the Tentaciones competition, which is designed to raise awareness of creative activity and give backing to up-and-coming visual artists with an investigative perspective to their approach to work.

Winning entries to the contest will be displayed throughout Estampa, which is set to run from Thursday October 20th to Sunday October 23rd at the Instituto Ferial de Madrid (IFEMA) trade fair centre.

The venue can be reached from anywhere in Madrid by taking Metro Line 8 to Campo de las Naciones station, which has an exit at the south of the IFEMA complex.
