Struggling Author Gets Break With "Tempest In The Stone"

Released on = January 3, 2005, 2:18 am

Press Release Author = Timothy N. Stelly , Sr./PublishAmerica

Industry = Entertainment

Press Release Summary = First-time author Timothy N. Stelly, Sr.'s first novel"Dream Come True"

Press Release Body = Pittsburg, CA (PRWEB) December 27, 2004 --

Publish America and Stellbread Productions announces the release of "Tempest In The Stone," the debut novel by Timothy N. Stelly, Sr. His second Book, "The Malice of Cain" is due later in the year.

Stelly is a unique storyteller who often blends "hip-hop" fiction with political satire. But "Tempest is a sometimes-gritty coming of age story with pieces of humor sprinkled in for good measure.

"Tempest In The Stone" is a stunning first-time effort that captures the angst and optimism of growing up in small town America. In the town itself the residents,"exist, but no one is really living." Or so laments the story's central character, Ike Burns.

Ike, along with friends Aurora, Bones and Stevie, feel trapped in the fictional town of Stonecutter, California. Inspired by life threatening events and the dream of a better life elsewhere, the quartet plans to strike out for Omaha, Nebraska. But there are several obstacles they must overcome: A thuggish hanger on and his promiscuous girlfriend; and a narcissisttic drug dealer known as Pinch.

The Book is available through local bookstores, publishamerica.com and all internet bookseller sites. It can also be ordered through local bookstores. For excerpts and a synopsis of this and other books by Mr. Stelly, link to: http://www.freewebs.com/stellbread
