AsiaRooms.com - Attend Titanic The Artifact Exhibition in Singapore

Released on: October 4, 2011, 12:37 pm
Author: AsiaRooms Ltd
Industry: Travel

Singapore tourists will be able to learn more about one of history's most famous maritime disasters at Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition, which is coming soon to the local ArtScience Museum.

The lavish exhibition, which has travelled the world and proven a huge success across various continents, will be coming to south-east Asia for the first time on October 29th 2011, running through until the 100th anniversary of the disaster in April 2012.

For years, the public's imagination has been captured by the tragic sinking of the grand luxury liner RMS Titanic on its maiden voyage, with the ArtScience Museum show set to offer a glimpse of life aboard the grand ship.

Spanning more than 2,500 sq m of exhibition space, it will feature meticulous reproductions of famous Titanic locations such as the first and third-class cabins, the boiler room and the grand staircase, as well as actual objects recovered from the wreck.

Visitors can find out more about the personal stories of the vessel's passengers, while a new section will highlight the impact of the Titanic's sinking on the Singapore region.

A generous selection of Singapore hotels is available to history buffs at AsiaRooms.com, including the Marina Bay Sands, which houses the ArtScience Museum.

More information about the exhibition can be found at www.marinabaysands.com/Singapore-Attractions/ArtScience-Museum/.
