World-renowned performer Yanni is set appear at the Burj Park in Downtown Dubai later this month.

The Grammy-nominated pianist and composer will play his first ever show in the United Arab Emirates on Friday October 28th, with the Burj Khalifa tower and fountains providing a spectacular backdrop.

Yanni released his 16th studio album Truth of Touch earlier this year and has performed to sold-out crowds at some of the world's most prestigious concert venues.

Since releasing his debut album in 1984, the 56-year-old has played to more than 500 million people in over 140 countries.

He is perhaps most famous for his 1992 LP Dare to Dream and the follow-up In My Time, as both records earned the Greek musician Grammy Award nominations.

Yanni Live at the Acropolis, a video and accompanying album of the performer's triumphant 1993 show in Athens, cemented his reputation as one of the biggest stars in contemporary instrumental music.
