White Lies are due to perform live in Rome on Saturday December 3rd, with support from The Duke Spirit.

The London-based indie rockers are playing a string of dates across the continent this winter before they round off their European tour with a homecoming show at Wembley Arena.

Their gig at Rome's Atlantico Live will give fans in the Italian capital a chance to hear tracks from their 2009 debut album To Lose My Life... and its follow-up Ritual, which was released earlier this year.

White Lies were tipped as ones to watch in the BBC's Sound of 2009 poll and quickly built up a devoted following with early singles Unfinished Business and Death.

Known for their dark lyrics and atmospheric sound, the band have been favourably compared to fellow acts such as Echo and the Bunnymen, Arcade Fire and Interpol.

Support act The Duke Spirit released their third album Bruiser in September and have a reputation as an exciting live act.

Tickets for the show in the Italian capital are available online, priced at €25.30 (£21.90) plus booking fee.
