Kuala Lumpur will be the venue for a hot party event called Xplosionz next month, featuring music from a number of exciting acts.

Taking place at the Jalan Setia Budi venue in Bukit Damansara, the energetic event will be held on December 16th 2011 and is open to attendees aged 15 and above, promising an unforgettable evening of music and dance.

Acts that will be playing include the likes of up-and-coming pop/punk band An Honest Mistake, DJ and producer Mario Mushroom and the quirkily-named indie group Once Upon a Time There Was a Sausage Named Bob.

Dance crew Wakaka will also be present, while rapper MC Syze will be presiding over the evening.

The party gets started at 19:00 local time and runs until midnight, with tickets available for 85 ringgits (£17) at the door or 75 ringgits for those booking in advance.

Meanwhile, a sales carnival will also be taking place before the music gets underway, running from 17:30 until 19:00.

It will see numerous arts and crafts items for sale, with part of the proceeds being donated to charitable causes.
