Thailand is playing host to a wide array of shows, performances and cultural experiences in the coming weeks as part of the Hua Hin Fringe Festival.

The event is organised by the Office of Contemporary Arts and Culture at the Thai Ministry of Culture and commenced on November 12th 2011, running through until February 25th 2012.

Held at the Vic Hua Hin venue under the auspices of artistic director Khun Patravadi Mejudhon, the festival brings together artists and performers from across Thailand and other parts of the world.

The programme will take in performances from the likes of the Urban Bones Dance Company, Yael Rasooly and the Golden Delicious Theatre, and British one-man act Timothy Mann.

Meanwhile, the final show will be performed by French artist Jerome Bel and Thai dancer Pichet Klunchun and will combine traditional Khon and modern dance.

Tickets for each performance are available for prices ranging from 500 to 900 baht (£10.20 to £18.40), with full-time students entitled to half-price tickets.

The majority of performances will commence at 19:30 local time.

A wide selection of Thailand hotels can be found at AsiaRooms.com by cultural enthusiasts, including the Hyatt Regency Hua Hin.

More information about the festival are located at www.vichuahin.com.
