Coldplay set to play Berlin's O2 World

Coldplay are due to perform at the O2 World in Berlin in support of new album Mylo Xyloto.

Stadium rockers Coldplay will head to Berlin for a show at the O2 World on Wednesday December 21st.

The concert should provide a pre-Christmas treat for fans of Chris Martin and co, who have just released their fifth studio album Mylo Xyloto.

Known for hits such as Yellow, Trouble, The Scientist and Fix You, Coldplay have sold millions of records and performed to huge crowds around the world.

With Mylo Xyloto sending them back to the top of the charts once again, the concert in the German capital should mark a triumphant moment for the British group.

Featuring the singles Every Teardrop is a Waterfall and Paradise, the 14-track record is a concept album based on the story of two characters finding love in a dystopian environment.

New track Princess of China, which is the third single to be taken from the LP, features guest vocals from Rihanna.

Tickets to see Coldplay perform in Berlin are available online, priced at €69.50 (£59.95) plus booking fee. The show is due to begin at 20:00 local time.
