Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds are set to perform in the French capital on Tuesday December 2nd.

The former Oasis star will take his new project to Paris following the success of his eponymous debut solo album, which charted at number one in the UK earlier this month.

Tickets for the show at the Casino De Paris are available online, priced at €32.90 (£28.80).

Gallagher announced his departure from Oasis in 2009 amid fractious relations with his younger brother Liam, the band's lead singer.

Months of excited speculation among fans finally came to an end when it was confirmed in July this year that a solo album from Noel was set to be released.

Featuring the singles AKA... What a Life! and The Death of You and Me, the High Flying Birds LP has been hailed as a return to form for the Mancunian songwriter by many critics.

Gallagher has also revealed that he plans to release a second solo project, which he has compared to Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon, in 2012.
