Mercury, one of the world's biggest Queen tribute acts, are set to perform live in Devon next month.

The band's show at the Princess Theatre in Torquay on Thursday December 1st will give fans of Freddie Mercury and his group a chance to hear powerful and authentic renditions of their many hits.

Marking 20 years since the iconic vocalist and songwriter died, the tribute band's current tour of the UK represents a celebration of his life and work.

The impressive vocal range of Mercury frontman Joseph Lee Jackson allows him to do justice to Freddie's trademark delivery and performance style, while guitarist Glenn Scrimshaw channels the energy and technical wizardry of Brian May.

Pat Coleman plays the role of Roger Taylor on drums, with Lee Harvey as Spike Edney on keyboards and Steve Humphreys as bassist John Deacon.

The group have a wealth of material to draw from, with Queen's back catalogue including classic hits such as Bohemian Rhapsody, We Are the Champions, Somebody to Love and Under Pressure.

Tickets for the Torquay show, which will begin at 19:30 GMT, are available online for £20.50.
