Discounted London hotels being offered for traveling theatre-goers.

Children's classic The Snowman is coming to London's West End this winter. The Peacock Theatre in Holborn will host the stage adaptation of Raymond Brigg's story for its twelfth consecutive year.

The adventures of James and his snowman play out between November 30 th and January 8 th , with individual ticket prices ranging from 12-35 pounds. Family tickets are available for 95 pounds. The Peacock Theatre, on Portugal Street, is the sister theatre of Sadler's Wells, first constructed during the mid-90s when the original Islington theatre was being reconstructed.

To help promote The Snowman, London hotels website LondonTown.com is offering large discounts on double rooms in the Holborn area for the duration of the show's run.

For five-star luxury and a taste of grand, Edwardian London, the Waldorf Hilton is offering a 61% discount off it's standard rate during December, when booking through LondonTown.com. The nightly rate is still a hefty 359 pounds, but it's easy to see where the money goes in this gorgeous hotel. It's just 3 minutes walk from the Peacock Theatre.

More modestly priced is the four-star Kingsley Hotel. Close to the British Museum, double rooms are available from 109 pounds – a 69% reduction from the standard rate. Less than 10 minutes walk from the Peacock, the Kingsley has a 90% approval rating from previous LondonTown.com users.

The Radisson Edwardian Kenilworth also has a 90% recommendation rate from LondonTown.com. A beautifully-appointed four star, less than 10 minutes walk from the theatre, a 69% discount on double room rates brings the nightly cost down to 125 pounds. Situated close to the British Museum, London hotels don't come more conveniently located to the West End and the City than this.
