Press Release Summary = GiftHatchery has launched its business in January, 2005 hoping to capture and cultivate business online by using enhanced shopping cart ordering processes.

Press Release Body = The idea behind the business is simple. Offer quality baskets, products and service. The customization feature of the business is the niche we hope will catch on. Think for a moment that you’re at a Build-a-Bear store. You pick a bear shell, the heart, and then go over to the stuffing machine where the shell is stuffed with cotton and sewn shut. You then proceed through the shop selecting boots, hats, jackets and other accessories for the bear until it is completely
accessorized and named. Your parents pay for the build-a-bear and all leave happily having created a unique gift/item. If one can stuff a bear, why can’t they stuff a basket and be just as happy?

Problem one was coming up with a name. That proved to be more problematic than first anticipated. Various friends were subjected to possible domain name lists to help narrow things down. Initially we headed down yaddabasket.com only to land upon GiftHatchery. You don’t have to buy a basket, if you just want to purchase boodle
(goodies or gifts) and have them shipped to someone that’s fine.

Both the owner and Web Host provider are ex Nortel Network employees who lost their jobs in the high tech crash of 2002. Collectively they have “tweaked” the web page in order to provide a fast and efficient way to navigate, purchase and pay for gift baskets.

Ordering is available by phone, email, fax or web. We currently use PayPal to ensure we can accept credit cards and electronic checks online. We encourage you to check out the functionality provided by the web site. We believe a quick and simple solution has been provided for customers. On your first order you’ll be prompted to create an account. After that, any of your repeat business will only need your email and password to pull up relative information.
