September 10, 2012, 5:50 am -- /EPR NETWORK/ -- Stake out the fun at Drusillas Park between Saturday 27th October and Sunday 4th November when the award winning attraction re-launches Shriek Week, conjuring up all sorts of eerie events and seasonal surprises to keep your little horrors half term happy.
Venture through the creepy cobwebbed corridors of Haunted Heights into the terror-tory of sin sisters, Hocus & Pocus as they play hide and shriek with the unsuspecting public. Be warned however, the gruesome twosome can startle young children and those of a nervous disposition.
The derelict castle towers high above the skyline of Drusillas but deep at the heart of Haunted Heights lies a ghostly secret. Thrill seekers are invited to knock on the trap door and discover the spook-tacular surprise within. Will you dare to get into the spirit of things?
Or perhaps you would rather take your chances in Eden’s Eye? Missing from the ancient tomb, a Mummy has been seen wandering through the shadowy pathways of the twisted maze. Enter through the old temple ruins and unravel the mystery within…but take heed you don’t come to a dead end.
However, the fun doesn’t stop here. On Tuesday 30th October, Katsuma from the Moshi Monsters will be at the Park to meet and greet visitors. Don’t miss the chance to see the friendly and popular monster appearing at intervals throughout the day. Plus there are creepy crawly encounters in the Discovery Centre throughout the week, with representatives from the British Tarantula Society available to answer questions on Sunday 28th October.
With all this, plus the usual animal magic, it’s well worth jumping on your broomstick and heading to Drusillas Park.
Located just off the A27 in Alfriston, Drusillas Park is open daily from 10am. For more information, please telephone 01323 874100 or visit www.drusillas.co.uk - Days Out in Sussex, The Best Fun Family & Childrens Days Out.
