2022November 26, 2013, 3:00 pm -- /EPR NETWORK/ -- The composers of electronic dance music known as Royce and Tan (often stylized Royce&Tan) have released their latest single, an innovative, high-energy dance floor anthem titled, Bloom. The track is being hailed as a harbinger of this bright new sound out of Montreal, Canada, and as an excellent example of the Royce and Tan repertoire. Having only partnered together in 2011, already their names are being passed around in the professional EDM circles.
These guys are actually good buddies of ours from Montreal and are doing some really great things, fellow popular EDM artists the Stafford Brothers have been quoted as saying. Royce and Tan have also received accolades in print from such names in the deejay subculture as Jidax, Adventure Club, and Luke and Skywalker, all of whom have also added R 'n' T's music to their play lists. Other DJ's with Royce and Tan material in their lineup include Deniz Koyu and Charlie Darker.
Royce Groome and Chrys Tan are each Djs and producers in their own rights. They began their music career together supporting acts such as Avicii, Calvin Harris, Tiesto, Steve Aoki, Eric Prydz, Adventure Club, Dada Life, Tommy Trash and many more, during which period they garnered great momentum and fan encouragement. This inertia continues to build with the current, much-awaited drop of Bloom.
Speaking candidly of Bloom themselves, Royce and Tan write, The single definitely reflects our sound and our style of writing. It's a mix of electro and pop, with a little twist. We want to give them a taste of what to expect from us in the future.
Royce and Tan have thrilled audiences time and again at residencies such as the Time Supper Club and the Wood35 Supper Club, both in Montreal. They are the winners of the 2013 Absolut Vodka Mashup competition, and produced their original track, Atlantis, for Bud Light and Sensation White Canada. Bloom has already gained placement in international commercials that will begin airing in November of this year.
