Oklahoma City, OK, October 09, 2014 -- /EPR NETWORK/ -- Local author Sheri Sue Will recently signed a contract with Tate Publishing to publish her two heart-warming books Butterfly Babies for Girls and Butterfly Babies for Boys.

The Butterfly Babies for Girls and Butterfly Babies for Boys books were written out of Will’s personal pregnancy/infant losses. The books were written for the living sibling who has to deal with no longer having a baby brother or baby sister to play with and take care of. The message lets them know that their emotions are okay and that eventually the family unit will be restored again.

Will’s unfruitful search for a resource similar to these books led her to writing them. “My inspiration for writing these books came from my personal losses, but also because there were no books I found to help explain to my daughter why her baby sister was gone,” shared Will. “I wrote Butterfly Babies for Girls and Butterfly Babies for Boys in 2010. At the time losing a baby whether by miscarriage or at birth (both of which I experienced) was not talked about. Sadly, many families are having to deal with this. My hope is that these books will provide the needed help to start dealing with the many painful emotions experienced after a loss.”

Will hopes that her Butterfly Babies collection serves as an informative and hope-filled conversation starter, sharing, “My books provide a starting place for questions and conversations at an age appropriate level.”

When asked about the inspiration behind the title, Will shared, “Writing has been a healing tool for me after my losses. My book titles come from the fact that in our yard after my losses, I would see a small white butterfly flittering around our tree. I felt it was the spirit of my baby bringing me comfort. Becoming an author was a distant dream I’ve had. Now I am following my destiny… Bringing help to those who need it.”

Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book will be available upon its release through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.

Will was raised on a farm in Cissna Park, Illinois, and has been around children all her life as a babysitter, nanny, and now mother. She has lived in Texas, Indianapolis, Ind., where she met her husband and started a family, and now resides in Brookings, S.D. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, playing WII Resort with her daughter and encouraging her through her various interests. She is forever thankful for the support of her husband and daughter during this process.
