Cranston, RI, January 30, 2015 -- /EPR NETWORK/ -- Electro Standards Laboratories adds Model 7373 6-Channel RJ45 T1 Switch to their line-up of Network Switches designed to reduce network downtime by providing quick access to backup networks/devices.

The Model 7373 is designed to support quick access to two RJ45 T1 networks for each of the six channels. A simple push of the button on the front panel and the positions are simultaneously switched from A to B for all six channels. The user also has the option of utilizing RS232 ASCII commands to remotely control the switch position, lockout front panel operations and obtain switch status.

The Model 7373 switch ports are transparent to all data and pins 1, 2, 4 and 5 of the RJ45 interface are switched via break-before-make electromechanical relays. All six channels switch simultaneously either via front panel pushbutton or ASCII RS232 serial data commands providing a critical, time-saving backup option over plugging and unplugging cables. The switch maintains position on power loss and continues to pass data.

The Model 7373 is available in a slim, rackmount unit with all metal, black box packaging to provide EMI/RFI shielding. Custom length RJ45 cables are available for your switch installation.
