On May 28, 2014, the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) and Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) issued converged guidance on recognizing revenue in contracts with customers. In countries adhering to US GAAP and to IFRS, companies will have to comply with this standard, effective from January 1, 2017.
