New York, NY, May 07, 2015 -- /EPR NETWORK/ -- The Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts have announced the winners of the 2015 Communicator Awards, and DHD Films has received two awards for their work with the Birthday Party Project and Inside Entertainment. The studio’s “Inside Entertainment Season 1 Reel” received an Award of Excellence, while “The Birthday Party Project Identity Film” received an Award of Distinction. With more than 6,000 entries received from across the US and around the world, the Communicator Awards is the largest and most competitive awards program honoring the creative excellence for communications professionals.

“It is an honor to be recognized by such an illustrious group as the AIVA. Our team constantly strives to move our clients’ stories forward, and the two awarded videos are a testament to that commitment,” said Shezad Manjee, DHD Films Creative Director and Founder. “However, neither of these awards would have been possible without our amazing clients, The Birthday Party Project and Inside Entertainment. It is because of their trust and belief in our abilities that we are able to create beautiful work.”

The Communicator Awards are judged and overseen by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA), a 600+ member organization of leading professionals from various disciplines of the visual arts dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media. Current AIVA membership represents a "Who's Who" of acclaimed media, advertising and marketing firms including: Condé Nast, Disney, Monster.com, MTV, Time Inc., Yahoo! and others.

“The work entered in the 21st Annual Communicator Awards serves as a true testament to the innovative ideas and capabilities of communications and marketing professionals around the world. Each year our entrants continue to amaze by reinventing the ways we communicate and market in an ever-changing industry,” noted Linda Day, executive director of the Academy Interactive and Visual Arts. “On behalf of the entire Academy, we congratulate this year’s Communicator Award Entrants and Winners for their passion and dedication.
