LandSouth Begins Third Phase of American House in Bonita Springs

Jacksonville, Fla., October 30, 2015 -- /EPR NETWORK/ -- LandSouth Construction, a Jacksonville, Fla. based general contractor specializing in multifamily, senior housing and mixed use development, has begun construction on the third and final phase of American House, a $13,834, 644 senior living community in Bonita Springs, Fla.

With Phase III scheduled to open in the fall of 2016, American House is being developed by nationally known American House Senior Living Communities. Progressive Associates is the architect.

Phase three of the project is a Tuscan style three-story building featuring 88 independent one- and two-bedroom private apartment homes, in addition to two-bedroom apartments with a den. In addition to convenience and location, residents will enjoy modern trim and finishes including European cabinetry and quartz countertops.

“This is really upscale independent senior living. Large residences with fashionable finishes, concierge service, dining facilities and a large veranda that offers seating for outdoor dining, with a kitchen/grill and other areas for residents to enjoy the outdoors with families and guests,” said LandSouth’s Senior Vice President of Development Joe Passkiewicz.

Phase III includes an elegant dining room, as well as a more casual bistro. Other amenities include an outdoor swimming pool with lounge areas; a putting green and bocce ball court; exercise room with cardiovascular and resistance weight machines; beauty salon with spa and massage room; laundry service; community rooms for group activities and family gatherings; and covered parking.

Nestled on 26 acres, American House is located adjacent to the Imperial River in Old Bonita Springs. Amenities include full restaurant service, resident activity rooms, aerobic swimming pool, lake walking path, fountains, gardens and exterior patios and verandas.

LandSouth Construction completed 60 one bedroom, 25 studio, and five two bedroom units in the first phase, and 40 one bedroom memory care residences in the second.
