-- /EPR NETWORK/ -- You know how it is when you’re preparing for your long-awaiting summer holiday or weekend away, and you’re going through your list to make sure you’ve packed all of your essentials. You’ve got your favourite perfume, and your all important hair serum to help you tackle the humidity, but then you remember; will you actually be able to take them on the plane?

The European Commission has recently announced that the limit on liquids, gels and aerosols that can be carried in hand luggage will be set at 100ml permanently. Furthermore, all liquids should be stored in clear plastic bags that can be sealed at the top, to ensure that airport security officials can see that you are taking only permitted liquids on board the flight, and in the right quantities.

Although the EU insists that these measures are vital for the ongoing safety of the passengers, travellers have been split in their opinions on the rules. According to a survey of almost 5000 Brits on travel review website TripAdvisor, 40 per cent of British travellers believe that the 100ml limit on hand luggage liquids does not make them feel any safer on their flight, while 47 per cent said the regulations did reassure them of their safety.

Regardless of whether you agree with them or not, these regulations are seemingly here to stay. So if you are jetting off on your holidays this summer, specifically if you are travelling with just a carry-on bag, then you should ensure that all of your perfumes, toiletries and other liquid bottles meet these regulations.

Online perfume retailer Fragrance Direct has perfumes and toiletries from some of the biggest brands on the market, and some of the most popular perfumes are now available from their online store in miniature “travel” versions that make them perfect for carrying in your hand luggage.

There are travel-friendly versions of some of the most popular perfumes on the market today, so why not stock up on the travel versions of the big name perfumes, such as Calvin Klein CK One Shock or Paco Rabanne 1 Million, to keep in your hand luggage and ensure you stay fresh during your journey, and you can store your larger beauty essentials in your suitcase.

You don’t have to be without your beauty favourites during your summer holidays, but you will have to ensure. To stock up on your holiday beauty products, and to view all of the travel perfumes, toiletries and other essentials that conform with EU flying regulations, visit the Fragrance Direct website at http://www.fragrancedirect.co.uk/.
